Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council (RMBC) provides service for approximately 260,000 residents and 100,000 people who work in Rotherham. As a Metropolitan Borough Council, it has responsibility for providing a range of services such as social care, housing, economic growth, public health, education, and community safety.
During our long-term partnership with RMBC, we are responsible for the service and maintenance of their fire alarms, intruder alarms, emergency lightning, access control, and CCTV (excluding highways). Providing a 24/7 service, we’re responsible for delivering a flexible reactive response and providing 24/7/365(6) monitoring through a third-party alarm receiving centre.
The complex nature of RMBC’s portfolio means our Engineers are working in a variety of properties each with their own bespoke procedures. This includes sheltered housing, youth centres, children’s homes, schools/academies, museums, crematorium, NHS properties, residential care, offices, libraries, theatres, business centres, indoor/outdoor markets, and car parks.
