Northumbria Police have a workforce of over 5200 officers and staff and are responsible for policing six local government areas: Northumberland, North Tyneside, Newcastle, Gateshead, South Tyneside, and Sunderland.
Following a successful tender process, DFP designed, installed, tested, and commissioned a Fire Alarm System and the associated electrical works at Etal Lane Police Station. This included the replacement of old cabling with new FP200 cabling. The contract involved provided a prompt reactive response within 2-hours in an emergency.
Due to the sensitive nature of Northumbria Police’s sites, all personnel dedicated to this contract completed advanced NPPV Level 2 vetting alongside their existing Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service clearance.
