The Role

This role is to support our Commercial department with various administrative tasks and work alongside the Bid Manager and Commercial Manager to ensure there is constant support for the team.  We require a confident and proactive team member that can show commitment and initiative.

 

The Responsibilities
As our Business Support, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Proactively engaging with the customers to support new opportunities
  • Producing service quotations for review
  • Supporting the Commercial Manager and Bid Manager
  • Ownership of our external tender platform
  • Completing internal tender checklists to send to stakeholders
  • Qualifying bids by completing an internal bid process plan
  • Completing Selection Questionnaires and areas of Pre-Qualification Questionnaires
  • Writing case studies to support business development
  • Overseeing our LinkedIn platform
  • Assigning writers to manage the bids
  • Proactively reviewing frameworks DFP are successful with
  • Monitoring and reviewing tender pipeline/early engagements
  • Completing market engagements for the company
  • Managing and distributing clarifications for unallocated bids
  • Managing the bid decision process including chasing stakeholders for decisions

 

The Person

This ideal person who’ll thrive in this role will be:

  • Knowledgeable of the industry we work in: Fire, Electrical and Mechanical
  • Familiar with bid/tender documentation
  • Experienced in Sales Administration

  • Full training will be provided

 

The Essential Criteria

  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities
  • Keeps sales records, orders, and documents within our CRM system
  • Clear and professional in both written and verbal communication
  • Responds promptly to customer queries and internal requests
  • Acts as a liaison between sales, operations, and finance teams
  • Administration experience in a fast-paced environment

 

The Hours

  • Monday to Friday
  • 8:00am – 4:30pm
  • 40 hours per week
